Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous: Pathfinder WOTR Beginner Game Basics

I noticed that Pathfinder, and the new part of Pathfinder WOTR, is very unfriendly to newbies and can alienate a new user from the game. Unfortunately, there are few tutorials, especially in Russian, that would explain all the basic concepts of this RPG. I tried to collect all the main aspects and useful chips so that the player who launched this game for the first time could understand what is happening, navigate, and develop.

Character characteristics | Leveling up by class | Protection

Strength

Strength , gives a bonus to attack and affects melee damage. It also affects the weight of clothing, the total weight of the inventory that your squad can carry.

Agility

Agility . The reaction depends on it, which gives various effects such as, for example, dodging an attack.

Endurance

Everything is simple with her, the more stamina – the more hp your character will have.

Intelligence

Intelligence determines how many points are distributed to your level

Wisdom

Wisdom will grant a bonus to a very important saving throw that protects you from spells.

Charisma

With charisma, there are few interesting jokes, pump it last, leaving it for the more necessary characteristics, and about no more than 6 points at the beginning of the game.

Magic

It is typical for magic to pump intellect, wisdom, charisma. They are needed for the spell, for example to make the spell of the third round , magician necessary 13 intelligence ,. Sorcerers in the same sense need to pump charisma, and the Priests – wisdom.

All magic is divided into two classes:

Mystical | Sacred

Their main difference is that when you create spells, the sacred can be easily created in armor, unlike mystical – there is a chance of spell failure. Tip:

Protection

There are several types of protection :

  • General protection
  • Defense by surprise
  • Protection against touching

The first general defense is responsible for normal strikes. Axes, swords, daggers and others like that.

The second surprise is used when your character is attacked “unexpectedly” and deprived of bonuses from evasion and agility.

The third touch defense works against magic, against which normal armor will be useless.

Thanks to everyone who read to the end and I am very glad if at least one person could figure it out a little at the start. This is the first experience in writing articles, I will try to supplement the guide if I see that the response on the game mechanics from more experienced pathfinder users and guide writers will be small.
